Trade Talks between Customs Davao and Consul General of Indonesia in Davao

The Bureau of Customs (BOC)-Port of Davao led by District Collector, Atty. Erastus Sandino B. Austria discussed trade potentials of Indonesia and Davao Region together with the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Davao City on June 20, 2022, at the Office of the District Collector, BOC Compound.

Highlighted during the meeting are the Port’s trade activities in its areas of responsibility, border security accomplishments, its top import and export commodities from and to Indonesia.

Also, attendees of the meeting where Mr. Martin T. Hutabarat, Trade Attaché, Consul for Economic Section, Novita S.D. Supit, Port of Davao’s Deputy Collector for Assessment, Atty. Vicente V. Yutangco, Deputy Collector for Operations, Atty. Dante A. Maranan and the District Collector’s Chief of Staff, Joyce S. Semacon.

District Collector, Atty. Austria expressed his gratitude to the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia for its continuous support to BOC Davao as it provides better trade facilitation opportunities for the transacting public and at the same time, boosts the economic performance of Davao Region and Mindanao.
