BOC Davao, PCG, PCGA, Customs stakeholders distribute relief care packages to Typhoon “Odette” affected families in Surigao City December 24, 2021

The Bureau of Customs (BOC)-Port of Davao distributed over 500 relief care packages and other essential goods to the families and victims of Typhoon Odette. Together with the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG)-Coast Guard District of Southeastern Mindanao (CGDSEM), Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary (PCGA), and various Customs Stakeholders, a 1x40 container truck of all relief goods gathered were delivered to Surigao City on December 24, 2021.

Through the collective efforts of BOC Davao, PCG, PCGA and several customs stakeholders, each family received one tub of various sanitary products, canned goods, bottles of water, among others. Furthermore, various stakeholders donated 50 solar panels, five generator sets, boxes of noodles, and 330 sacks of rice, equally distributed for the affected victims.

Furthermore, the employees of Collection District XII allocated a portion of their salary to purchase some of the above-mentioned goods. The said Port also donated goods to the Port of Surigao that was severely affected, including its employees.


BOC Davao extends its gratitude to all those who donated various goods and assures that all donations are safely delivered to the affected areas in Surigao City.
