BOC Davao strengthens Document Security System with NICA-ROXI

TheBureau of Customs (BOC) - Port of Davao, in coordination with the National Intelligence Coordinating Agency-Regional Office XI (NICA-ROXI), conducted a seminar that aims to enhance the security procedures of classified information or documents for the employees of BOC Davao on May 17-18, 2021.

Among the topics discussed were the proper handling and processing of classified and sensitive materials for employees who access these data or documents. Personnel and physical security measures were also cascaded to avoid unauthorized persons from gaining access to classified matters or any security facility.

The conduct of the seminar is in line with Executive Order No.608, “Establishing a National Security Clearance System for Government Personnel with Access to Classified Matters and for Other Purposes.”

BOC Davao, led by District Collector Austria, will continue to strengthen its document security system to avoid the risk of unauthorized access of confidential data in the Bureau.
