BOC Davao ESS, CIIS undergoes Security Protocol Workshop and Training

The Bureau of Customs (BOC), Port of Davao’s Customs Intelligence and Investigation Service (CIIS), and Enforcement Security Service (ESS) completed the 4-day training and workshop on strengthening knowledge on Personnel and Border Security on March 21 to 24, 2022 at the BOC Davao compound.

The said workshop included a refresher course on security protocol and tactical training specifically on the protection of convoys, relocation or evacuation of staff intervention, and escorting VIPs or public officials. It also featured a firearms training and safety course to enhance gun firing, self-defense, and field combat.

The said training was conducted by BOC’s Intelligence and Enforcement Group and is part of its mandate under Border Security and Protection.

BOC will continue to conduct similar training to enhance the Port’s knowledge capacity and produce highly skilled employees.
