BOC Davao distributes care packs to over 100 families in Marilog District, Davao City

103 families from Brgy. Salaysay, Marilog District received care packages from the employees of the Bureau of Customs (BOC) Port of Davao through the Davao City Police Office (DCPO) “Pamaskong Handog 2021 Alay sa Kabataan” on December 22, 2021.

This community outreach program is also part of the Port’s social responsibility and annual gift-giving program conducted each year for those who were severely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in the marginalized community.

Through the collective efforts of the officers of BOC Davao and DCPO, each family received five kilos of rice, nine assorted canned goods, packs of instant noodles, one spaghetti set, among others.

Further, the Port of Davao plans to extend this year’s charity program, where over 205 tubs of essential goods will be distributed for those families who were severely affected by the Typhoon Odette in Surigao City. ###
