BOC Davao Conducts 3rd Quarter Webinar on the Customs Latest Policies and Procedures

The Bureau of Customs (BOC) - Port of Davao conducted its 3rd Online Stakeholders’ Dialogue for the year 2021 with over 300 participants via Zoom Teleconference.


Participated by the Port’s top importers-exporters, customs brokers, and several students taking-up Bachelor of Science in Customs Administration from the Holy Cross of Davao College (HCDC) and the Davao Merchant Marine Academy (DMMA) College of Southern Philippines, on September 29, 2021, there were discussions on the current customs policies and on updates on customs regulations and procedures.



District Collector, Atty. Erastus Sandino B. Austria of the Port of Davao said, “These discussions provide us, in the government and you in the private sector, the opportunity to collaboratively discuss our common goals and viewpoints. And through this, we are able to review our current processes and dig deeper into addressing all issues, concerns and challenges that you might have encountered with the current processes and procedures of the Bureau.”





Among the topics discussed were the Latest Policies on the Service of Warrant of Seizure and Detention, the Customer Care Center, Letter of Authority Implementation, Clearance of Inbound Passengers/Crew, and their Baggage with a discussion on the Foreign Currency Declarations. The webinar also featured the Proper Lodgment of Import and Export Declarations through BOC Davao’s Value-Added Service Providers, e-KONEK and the Cargo Data Exchange Center, Inc. ###
