BOC Davao Collects 30.5 B, exceeds target by 5.82 B

The Bureau of Customs, Port of Davao exceeded its 2020 annual target of Php 24,663,729,934.38 by 5,819,466,128.21. This is the highest among all Collection Districts in the entire country.

Records show that excess revenue for the year 2020 is 23.60% higher than its assigned target. This brings the Port on top in terms of the highest surplus recorded for the said year at 5.82 Billion pesos, followed by the Port of Cagayan de Oro having 3.41 Billion Pesos and Port of Subic with Php 3.39 Billion pesos.

With the guidance of Finance Secretary, Carlos Dominguez III, and Customs Commissioner Rey Leonardo Guerrero, BOC Davao attributes this remarkable collection performance to the hard work of its employees and cooperation from its stakeholders who continue to transact with the Port despite the threat of the COVID-19 pandemic.
