Austrian Consul General in Davao Visits BOC Davao

Bureau of Customs (BOC)-Port of Davao District Collector, Atty. Erastus Sandino B. Austria receives Austrian Honorary Consul in Mindanao Dr. Peter Faistauer, at the BOC Compound, June 13, 2022, where they discussed trade potentials between European countries and Davao Region.

Highlighted during the meeting are the Port’s trade activities in its areas of responsibility, border security accomplishments, its top import and export commodities from and to Austria.

Attendees of the meeting were Deputy Collector for Assessment, Atty. Vicente V. Yutangco, Deputy Collector for Operations, Atty. Dante A. Maranan and the District Collector’s Chief of Staff, Joyce S. Semacon.

District Collector, Atty. Austria expressed his gratitude to the Office of the Consulate of the Republic of Austria for its continuous support to BOC Davao as it provides better trade facilitation opportunities for the transacting public and at the same time, boosts the economic performance of Davao Region and Mindanao.
